When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s AMORE! Pizza, pizza pie, or just pie, no matter how you slice it, pizza is scrumptious and just so happens to be a favorite pastime for many of us. Since its invention, pizza has undergone many transformations providing us the cosmic variety we are accustomed to today. Pizza can be made healthy or fatty, depending upon what you use for the toppings, they can come in forms such as Calzones (half the dough is topped then the other half folded over to form a large half-moon shaped pizza pocket), various forms of bread, rolls, stuffed crust, pan pizza, thin crust, and thick crust, Chicago to New York style. The pizza concept has also taken many varieties like Mexican pizza, ice cream pizza, and even pizza flavored Doritos! And now a days, you can get your pizza from a number of different places, you can stay in and get your pizza delivered to you, grab a slice at the mall, or sit down at a local pizzeria, just to name a few. Really, the possibilities are endless! But with all these choices how do you choose the best pizza, and more importantly, where are you supposed to find it? With all these choices making the right decision can be overwhelming, but don’t worry I’ve been there, and I made the right choice! TK’s Pizza in Saint Robert, Missouri is by far the best pizzeria in town! TK’s has the best pizza crust, a ridiculous topping selection, they deliver, have super affordable prices, and provide a great environment when choosing to dine-in!
Just like I mentioned above, TK’s has the best pizza crust; in order to achieve the perfect crust it is essential that the pizza dough is hand tossed. A well made pizza crust has the perfect combination of flavor and texture. It should never be bland, difficult to chew, or dry. The best pizza dough should be silky, never too sticky. Combine all these elements and you have the perfect pizza crust, the kind you just can’t wait to sink your teeth into. Second, the pizza must be piled high with toppings. I’m talking so many toppings that you need a fork to scoop up the extras on your plate, so many toppings that a two-hand carry is an absolute necessity! Third, what’s a great pizza if it can’t be delivered? Come on, sometimes you just don’t feel like going anywhere! And well, sometimes you can’t, delivery is a requisite! Fourth, how can you enjoy your awesome pizza if you can’t afford it? Great pizza must always be affordable! A great pizzeria should be the kind of place that you can bring your kids to and have them fill their bellies without breaking the bank. And finally, a great pizzeria should provide a fun, laid-back family environment when dining-in and must always feature great customer service.
TK’s paints the perfect picture of how a great pizzeria should be, from great pizza, to fast delivery, affordable prices, a fun, family environment, and great customer service. Not only does TK’s feature delicious hand-tossed dough, baked to perfection, not too soft, not too crispy, always light and airy, but they are also home to the scrumptious “Deluxe” pizza. This bad boy is piled high with all the good stuff like pepperoni, salami, onions, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, beef and Italian sausage, making a fork to scoop up all those extras a must! Just know, this is not your average ‘deluxe’ folks, don’t let the name fool you, just let the delectable goodness do the talking.
TK’s boasts over 20 different topping options and a delicious little something (no pun intended) called the “King” size pizza that measures a whopping 20 inches in diameter, making it the biggest pizza I’ve ever seen in real life, seriously! If that won’t feed your hungry family I don’t know what will! Another aspect I love about TK’s is the laid-back family environment they provided in their dining area. With the old school table booths, video games, classic rock playing in the background, and the smell of pizza in the air, TK’s is sure to please just about anyone! With that down-home, relaxed ambiance, TK’s staff is ever so friendly and always willing to oblige any reasonable request.
TK’s also meets their customer’s needs by offering free, fast delivery, boasting the largest delivery area in Pulaski County. Since I moved to Missouri I cannot tell you how many times I have ordered TK’s for delivery and can I just say, I have never waited more than 35-40 minutes for my pizza and it is always fresh and piping hot when it arrives at my front door. What’s even more amazing about TK’s already breathtaking pizza is that they are incredibly affordable, showing off a going rate of $16.50 for a 20 inch Deluxe, now that is some bang for your buck! In fact, when contrasting TK’s to the local completion it is plain to see their prices cannot be beat. TK’s large deluxe pizza compared to the local Papa John’s supreme pizza, costs $2.00 less than the competition. To add to that, the competition doesn’t even come close to offering a pizza as large as TK’s 20 inch King! One customer wrote, “TK's has the best pizza and value combination anywhere. I don't like to dine in very much, but their delivery and carry out is excellent and their drivers are generally extremely respectful, polite, and punctual.....” (Tripadvisor.com). Another customer wrote, “When we lived here, we loved this pizza and would order from nowhere else. Since moving away there are plenty of times where I wish there was a TK's next to me...have not found better pizza since!” (TravelYahoo.com). If this place doesn’t sound great enough, TK’s has been serving the Saint Robert/Waynesville/Fort Leonard Wood area for over 20 years and has been voted “Best Pizza” in Pulaski County for the past several years (dexknows.com), it’s not just me who thinks it’s great! To add to its greatness, TK’s is located just minutes outside a U.S. Army base and takes pride in the service men and women and their families they serve, offering a 10% military discount every Monday!
Today we celebrate pizza; we go out for pizza on a Friday night, to spend time with friends and family, to celebrate a special occasion, or after the game. Whatever your reason may be, you can’t deny pizza is nostalgic, it’s a good time, especially when the pizza is perfect and the customer service is stellar. TK’s is reminiscent of these special times and has been mid-Missouri’s favorite local pizza joint for over 20 years, this does not happen by accident folks, TK’s was then, is now, and will always be, love at first taste. Here, people have learned to appreciate good food, good quality, affordability, and good service; at TK’s Pizza you can always expect just that and more!
